during the Austin Studio Tour since 2015!

We will each show our own bodies of work in our usual spaces.

A note from John Swanger...

My paintings come from meditation on place, atmosphere and immediacy. Though abstract - they're based on close observation. I'm interested in how details and differences create fields of energy and variety. I try to reflect moments of vividness and a kind of layering of senses. I hope you enjoy seeing the paintings.

A note from Hallie Rae Ward...

I express my feelings, reflections, and affirmations through fiber, light, painting, mixed media, and poetry. During the continuous odyssey of bringing my artworks to life, I contemplate on the way I move throughout my life with the human connection and experience. We have many deep relationships with ourselves, with others, our thoughts, our intentions, our experiences, and our union with nature. My artwork exudes energy and has a positively poppin’ vibe that beautifully contributes to people’s lives and spaces.

Artists who are on the tour and have a listing in the catalog were able to submit an artwork with the maximum size of 12” x 12” to be a part of the group exhibition.
