Built through Collaboration!
RISE Fest is a community event celebrating Austin’s Black Freedom Communities.
MARCH 2026
For the event, Funmi brought me on to create this sign using her existing brand assets.
I helped finalize the design, sourced the print shop, and handled production from start to finish.
I’m always drawn to the part of the process where an idea becomes something real, something you can experience.
That’s an important part of the work as an artist and collaborator.
It was beautiful seeing people having their photos taken with RISE!
Grateful to have contributed to something that honors such an important part of the city.
Thank you Funmi Ogunro, RISE Project, and Outreach Productions.
Enjoy the recap!

Earlier this week, I was a part of the INSTALL TEAM with @caseyalfstad and @scottdavidgordon for this exhibition!
It was such a great experience to work with Jiabao. Her work is intimate, real, intelligent, and impactful.
We worked as a team to install a variety of her artworks by utilizing each of our skills, learning from each other, and executing the steps to bring this exhibition to life.

Proud of the work we did and it’s very special to be a part of the magic of making ART happen!

OUTREACH PRODUCTIONS SUMMER CAMP
JULY 2026
Celebrating Creativity, Literacy & Community!
Outreach Productions hosted another inspiring Art & Literacy Summer Camp,
bringing young creatives together through hands-on art and self-expression!
I had the joy of teaching two classes:
CREATIVE COLLAGE, where students transformed images and words into unique artwork,
and FIBER & NATURE, where they explored knotting, finger knitting, and pom-pom making.
Students also reflected on their creative process through writing, strengthening the connection between art, literacy, and self-expression.
The 2nd Annual Super Showcase wrapped up camp with student artwork, interactive activities, food, and community celebration!
A heartfelt thank you to Outreach Productions for empowering youth through creativity and literacy.
I'm grateful to have been part of this experience!
The power of creativity.
The power of literacy.
The power of community.
The power of our youth!

I unfortunately won’t be able to be there in person, but there are a lot of great pieces/items in the silent auction.
You can dive into the auction in person or online!
